Carbon five petroleum resin, also known as C5 petroleum resin, has occupied an important position as a tackifying resin. Among them, the most used is hot melt adhesive and pressure sensitive adhesive, rubber tire and other fields, petroleum resin is suitable for hot melt adhesive, pressure sensitive adhesive and rubber tire petroleum resin. They have good compatibility with SIS, SBS, SEBS, SEPS and other styrene polymers, natural rubber, synthetic rubber and EVA, and also good compatibility with natural tackion-enhancing resins (terpenes, rosin and its derivatives), and have different degrees of improvement on the properties of adhesives. In recent years, petroleum resin has gradually replaced natural tackier-increasing resin and taken an important position due to its high stripping and bonding strength, good fast adhesion, stable bonding performance, moderate melting viscosity, good heat resistance, good compatibility with polymer matrix and low price.
