Product Description

SUNION Class SBS-3603 belongs to high SB content (65%) product, with 35% styrene content, which a hot melt adhesive special material. It is a customized developed for hot melt adhesive modification. Compared with the three-steps SBS products at home and abroad, the SBS-3603 product has advantages of such low molecular weight, compact particle, high liquidity, good resilience, low melt viscosity, big hardness etc. SBS-3603 appearance is transparent or translucent particle, which is similar to most of the hard plastic. It's merits are material pipeline, high efficiency and low labor costs by twin screw extrusion modification or direct injection produce process.

Application

1. Hot melt modification

SBS-3603 has a high level of SB di-block, with low temperature resistance, which is used for hot melt adhesive modification and widely used in the production of low-temperature glue in the industry. The product can be used to improve the processing temperature and coating effects of the hot melt, also it can improve production efficiency, with high melt fluidity (200 ºC, 5.0 kg ,melting point 36g/10 min) and low melt viscosity.

2. Asphalt modification

SBS-3603 containing 65% SB di-block, the melt viscosity is low, therefore, the product has good asphalt dispersion, outdoor adaptability, anti-adhesive brittleness effect than traditional tri-block SBS. Used for roof asphalt modification, it can not only improve the service life of asphalt, but also can improve the waterproof climate adaptability and extend the tar elastic cycle.

SBS-3603 belongs to combustible , and that should be away from fire and heat source and high oxidizing material. It also has double bonds in the internal structure which may be cross linked and cracked by the sunlight or ultraviolet radiation. Therefore, it should be avoided sunlight or strong light irradiation, and stored in a cool, dry and ventilated warehouse.
